The President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing established by Barack Obama has developed 6 pillars for policing. Training and education is one pillar and working with a national recognized SME I developed a online report writing course focused on documenting police reports. The program has been launched in several police departments
Report Writing
The course focused on online report writing in an asynchronous format. Officers could work on the course on mobile devices, patrol car laptop or virtually anywhere. This course has helped police department meet the recommendations for 21st century policing and offer flexible learning so officers are not removed from duty for professional development.
